We have an excellent team of community nursing staff comprising nursing sisters, community nurses and community nursing assistants. They provide a high quality and effective home nursing service for our patients, which includes:
- Wound Management
- Acute/Chronic Illness Management
- Continence Care/Assessment
- Palliative/Terminal Care
- Catheter Management
Our district nurses also provide a dressings clinic each morning at the surgery between 10.30 and 11.00am.
Referrals to the district nurses are made via Social Services, hospitals and our GPs. The team comprises:
